birthday party for the month of may. the children dressed up in costumes and danced around the house all day. it was really cute. i am not so sure what she dressed up as!!!

we have a birthday party for the children and they spent the whole day dressing up and dancing around the house.

he is my new favorite this week. it changes but this week it is definitely him.

we had the children trace each others bodies on paper and then decorate them. they were very very creative (as you can see from this picture)

we took the kids to the beach and they entertained us the whole way.

we took the children to the beach in our car. it was such a treat for them. they loved the air conditioner and the automatic windows.

Here are some of our pictures from Dubai. It was really nice to get away for a few days and see a new place.
Things that we did while in Dubai; water park, a museum ( it took five mins to walk through it-nothing too much to see), walking tour (which was nice), gold market (which Dubai is known for), Emirate mall which has the indoor ski slope.
Our next trip will be the United States. We are so excited to come. We have not been home for a really long time so we are both really looking forward to seeing friends and family. I will be home for about one month and Allan for one week and a couple days. We hope to see everyone!!!!

this is at carrefour. i can't believe that i took a picture of a grocery store but i really was so happy to be inside of a normal grocery store. it felt really good to walk down the aisles and find everything i needed. walking around carrefour might have been one of my favorite activities in dubai

i was so happy to see a chilis in dubai. it is one of my favorite restaurants so allan was kind enough to have dinner there with me. when i come home to chicago let me know who wants to meet me there for dinner one night. mom i know you would go with me.

i was so excited to see chicago uno's pizza. i was probably so excited because i have not been to chicago in seven months now.

this was at the mall and we had to wait in this long line just to get a taxi. it took one hour to get a taxi anywhere you went in dubai. public transportation is terrible.
